Addressing Applications of Algae for Aquaculture,Energy and Pharmaceuticals

The Ateneo Innovation Center has for several years now been working with Alsons Aquaculture of General Santos, Mindanao on high rate growth of algae using photobioreactors. In these reactors. resonant radiation is used to drive algae growth and  increase the rate of CO2 take-up.

We already have several partners in AIC, several being adjunct faculty of the Ateneo School of Science and Engineering.
